Shock Absorber Installation Tool Set

Feature:

* This new and innovative tool is a genuine problem solver for the dismantling and assembly of shock absorbers with tension stop springs.

Function of the tension stop springs:

* The tension stop springs ensure that the shock absorber can’t be damaged, when stretching right up to the end stop.

* The spring is located directly within the shock absorber and is not active when in neutral gear and in the pressure stage.

* It only comes into effect at the end of the damper passage during the rebound stroke.

Removal procedure:

* Strut completely removed-dust boot or bump stop lifted-piston rod degreased

* Add clamping piece and secure in place

Advantage:

* Piston rod only remains in this position during the clamping process and is not retracted.

Consisting of:

* 1pc telescopic basic unit with handle

* 1pc intermediate bearing with telescopic pipe receiving thread and handle

* 1pc uni-clamping piece with plastic jaw protector

* 1pc clamping screw set, 2pcs short

* 1pc clamping screw set, 2pcs long

* 1pc T-grip Alien key with ball
